Online BCA fees in India 2026: every university compared
Online BCA fees at 21 UGC-entitled universities range from ₹70,000 to ₹1,75,000 for three years.
An online BCA teaches programming, databases and the other basics of software work, and many students take it before an MCA. The three years cost ₹70,000 at Mangalayatan University and ₹1,75,000 at Amity, with 19 universities in between. Five of the 21 cost under ₹1 lakh. All of them are UGC-DEB entitled, so the degree carries the same weight as a campus BCA for jobs, government exams and further study. Fees were taken from each university’s official site in October 2026.

Lower prices for one-time payment
These four universities give a discount when you pay for the whole course in one go:
- GLA University: ₹94,500 instead of ₹97,500
- DY Patil Pune: ₹1,20,000 instead of ₹1,25,000
- Manipal University Jaipur: ₹1,29,600 instead of ₹1,44,000
- Amity: ₹1,54,000 instead of ₹1,75,000

What you need to apply
A Class 12 pass. Some universities prefer students who took Mathematics or Computer Science. Each one sets its own minimum marks.
Who it suits
- Class 12 students aiming for software or IT work
- People in tech support or operations roles who need a degree
- Students who plan to go on to an MCA
Popular specialisations are Data Science, Cloud and Security, AI and Machine Learning, and Full Stack Development. These can carry a different fee from the general BCA.
Is the cheapest BCA a safe choice?
It is, provided the university is UGC-DEB entitled, and all 21 here are. The entitlement is what makes the degree valid. A bigger fee mostly pays for a well-known name, a wider alumni network or a better learning platform.
