Online M.Com fees in India 2026: every university compared

Thirteen universities offer an online M.Com for between ₹35,000 and ₹1,50,000 in total.

An online M.Com lets B.Com graduates earn a master’s in commerce without stopping work, including those preparing for UGC-NET or studying for CA, CMA or CS. For the two years it costs ₹35,000 at Mangalayatan University and ₹1,50,000 at Amity. The 13 universities in the table are all UGC-DEB entitled, so the degree is accepted like a campus M.Com for jobs, government exams and further study. Fees were taken from each university’s official site in October 2026.

Admission requirements

A bachelor’s degree, usually a B.Com or a related subject. Each university has its own minimum marks.

Who it’s for

  • B.Com graduates in accounts, audit, banking or taxation jobs
  • Commerce teachers and future lecturers preparing for UGC-NET
  • CA, CMA or CS students who want a master’s degree at the same time

Specialisations vary by university and include Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Financial Technology and Taxation. Ask for the fee of the specialisation you pick, as it may differ from the base M.Com.

Why fees differ so much

The gap has nothing to do with validity. Every Indian university in this table is UGC-DEB entitled, and that is what makes the degree recognised. A higher fee generally pays for a better-known name, a larger alumni network or a better learning platform.
