What we collect, why, who sees it, and how you stay in control.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Gradonline collects, why, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and how you can control it. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
Who We Are
Gradonline Private Limited (CIN U85500DL2025PTC449077), 3rd Floor, G-48, Block G, Sector 3, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301. Email: info@gradonline.in. Phone: +91 74289 77446. For the personal data you give us, Gradonline is the “data fiduciary”: we decide how it is used and are responsible for it.
What We Collect
- Details you give us on this website, on WhatsApp or on a call: your name, mobile number, email (if you share it), the course or university you are interested in, your qualification, budget, preferred intake and anything you write to us.
- Details from Meta lead forms: if you fill in one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the details you entered and which ad or form you used.
- Conversation records: WhatsApp messages and notes from calls with our team, so we can continue where we left off.
- Usage data: the pages you visit, your device and browser type, approximate location, the site or ad that brought you here and campaign tags in the link. We use Google Analytics and our own form tracking for this.
- On your own device: for your current visit only, this website keeps a few settings in your browser, such as the universities you added to compare and the link or ad that brought you here. It does not store your mobile number in your browser.
We do not ask for Aadhaar numbers, bank details or payment information. You pay programme fees directly to the university, never to us.
Why We Use It
- To answer your enquiry and give you free counselling.
- To send you a shortlist, fee details and admission guidance by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To help you apply to a university, but only one you have chosen.
- To keep a record of our conversations and improve our service.
- To understand which pages and ads are useful, using aggregated analytics.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, message us or fill in a lead form. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your Rights” below). Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.
Who We Share It With
- Universities you choose. When you ask us to help you apply, we share your details with that university only. We never pass your number to universities you have not chosen.
- Service providers who process data for us: Google (a copy of website form entries is kept in Google Workspace; Google Analytics), Meta (WhatsApp and Facebook/Instagram lead forms), Hostinger (website hosting, where website form entries are stored), and the phone and messaging providers we use to contact you. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data and never share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How We Contact You
We contact you only about the enquiry you made, on the number or email you gave us. Reply “STOP” on WhatsApp or tell our team and we will stop. We do not make unsolicited promotional calls to people who have not contacted us.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your data while we are helping you with your admission. If your enquiry does not go ahead, we delete or anonymise your details within 12 months of our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will.
Your Rights
- Get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with.
- Correct or update your data.
- Have your data erased.
- Withdraw your consent, as easily as you gave it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, email info@gradonline.in with the subject “Privacy request” and the mobile number you used with us. We reply within 30 days.
